Newcrest Orange Challenge
170km ride
Starting and finishing in Orange, the OG 170km route travels through Wiradjuri Country and sees you take on changing terrain and seemingly endless hills that make up the 2,200 vertical metres. This is no simple ride. With no short cuts, uneven roads and sharp climbs, you will be put to the test.
There will be cut-off points along the route, so you’ll need to keep an average pace of 22km/h to complete the ride.
It’s all worth it though, the virtually traffic-free route will have you fooled into believing that you’re riding your own European cycling adventure. A complimentary BBQ lunch will be waiting for you at the finish line!
